Democracy and Government Lead

Bryn is a public-sector strategist and democracy advocate with over two decades’ experience delivering system-level reform across education, human services, justice and Aboriginal affairs. As Democracy and Government Lead at the Castlemaine Institute, he works to strengthen local democratic participation and decision-making and leads projects that deliver system change for economies, communities and our environment.

Alongside CI, Bryn co-founded Really Local, which is trialling local democracy innovations that return people to the heart of democracy.

Bryn is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and currently serves as a Board Director at Dhelkaya Health.
