This vivid-green saltbush makes a neat, mounded ground cover for dryish parts of the garden. A great plant for living mulch as it keeps the ground noticeably cool and moist underneath.<\/p>\n

Will be knocked back by a heavy frost, but survives through winter under protection of a tree canopy. New seedlings often recruit on sand or gravel pathways and can be transplanted around the garden. Provides valuable refuge for small lizards such as skinks and geckoes. A low flammability plant, if old growth is pruned back in winter.<\/p>\n
