Fragrant, creamy flowers borne in dense clusters. Papery capsules rustle pleasantly in the wind.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A plant with fine spines along stems, making it excellent refuge for small birds. Bursaria is a highly variable species. Our local form may have sparse growth, but can be clipped to increase density. It may remain low-growing under canopy of eucalypts, where it can spread by suckering. Forms from other parts of Victoria may grow into a small tree.
