Yellow Box

A tall tree with a fine textured canopy and distinctive rough bark. This tree is prized for its nectar by apiarists and native pollinating insects.

Naturally found growing on slopes above waterways, it prefers deeper and moister soils. A large tree for the urban garden, but a beautiful shade tree for larger properties and streetscapes where conditions are suitable.
