Woolly New Holland Daisy

A small perennial daisy with purple flowers and a cotton fuzz of flyaway seeds. Generally short-lived but seeds out readily.

Not a very showy plant but the silver foliage and many-branched form make it a lovely contrast plant for perennial border or grassland garden. A very drought tolerant plant that copes with harsh sites. Provides pollen and nectar for native bees.
