A low-growing tuft of bluish foliage. Spreads by underground roots (rhizomes).
A resilient, grass-like plant with long-lived leaves that look good throughout the year and don’t require cutting back. Tiny, fragrant flowers will provide pollen for native bees and beetles in spring. Food plant for caterpillars/larva of native butterflies and moths, which indirectly feed microbats (which feed on moths).
