Twining Glycine

A twining herb with clusters of purple-blue flowers. Leaves have three leaflets. Tends to scramble among ground covers and low-growing plants. Can form mounds when it has nothing to climb and conditions are favourable, with sufficient soil moisture and dappled shade.

A delicate plant that is easy to miss until the surprise of flowers in spring. A source of nectar for moths, native bees and hoverflies.
