Slender Speedwell

A vivid green ground cover with sky-blue flowers from spring through summer. Spreads vigorously by underground stems (rhizomes) and trailing stems to form a mat of fine leaves.

A very pretty cover for the edge of pathways, rockeries and cottage gardens. Needs soil moisture through summer to thrive. Naturally occurs in wetter forests and woodlands or found trailing beside creeks. Flowers provide nectar and pollen for native bees, small beneficial wasps, butterflies and beetles.
