Inland Pigface

A low growing, succulent ground cover with fleshy leaves and pink, daisy-like flowers in spring to early-summer.

Uncommon in Central Victoria. A great plant for a dry border or rockery. Much slower growing and easier to manage than its vigorous, coastal cousin the Karkalla (Caprobrotus rossii). Only tolerates very light frost. Native bees and beneficial wasps will be attracted to its bright flowers for both nectar and pollen. Fruit are edible when very soft.
