Copper-awned Wallaby-grass

A robust perennial grass, with broad leaves in a tuft and tall fluffy seed heads.

This Wallaby-grass is broader and more robust than many other species in this genus, making it a great choice for a feature in a naturalistic garden, perennial border or cottage garden. It will seed out in pathways and garden beds, so requires transplanting/weeding of new seedlings in winter. The dense tussock is great refuge for frogs and lizards and will feed seed-eating birds.
