Blushing Bindplant

A diminutive, twining treasure. Barely noticeable until the suprise of bright pink flowers that appear in spring. Will twine around grass stalks or sprawl along the ground, dying back to a thick woody rootstock after flowering and seeding.

The thick roots enable plants to survive drought.  Flowers provide valuable source of nectar for native bees and hoverflies.
