Bidgee Widgee

A gorgeous, bright green ground cover that spreads by rhizomes to form thick mats. Thrives in moister sites with some shade. Will readily seed out in the garden but is easy to maintain.

The seed-heads look appealing: pompoms with a pink-blush that stand proud of the leaves. But watch-out. The burrs catch in socks and dogs fur. Be sure to plant away from pathways.
