A broad-leaved perennial herb that forms soft mounds of green. Abundant white-pale pink flowers from spring through summer, if soil moisture is maintained in dry months.
Dies back to a fleshy taproot during dry periods. Short-lived but readily self sows through the garden. Visited by butterflies and native bees for nectar. Leaves are pleasantly fragrant when brushed during weeding. Prune to rejuvenate.
