Austral Indigo

A graceful, slender shrub with with pink to purple pea-flowers and bluish-green leaves. A diffuse and open shrub that brings an appealing airiness to perennial border of grassland garden. Beautiful when flowering.

A valuable source of nectar and pollen for native bees. Frost sensitive, but tolerant of shade, so best grown under the protective canopy of a tall tree. Small insectivorous birds will forage through the canopy.
