A stately eucalypt with pale-grey trunk and often sinuous limbs. A good option for a native shade tree, due to its moderately dense canopy. This is a very tough tree, tolerant of a wide range of conditions, so a great choice for difficult locations with plenty of space.
The small flowers are attractive to insect pollinators and to insect and seed-eating birds. Known for developing hollows when mature, so an important habitat tree for hollow-nesting birds and mammals.
