The dense, fine foliage of this erect shrub makes it an excellent screening and habitat plant. Profuse, deep-gold flowers in late winter.
Refuge and nesting for birds and insects; food for seed & insect eating birds; host plant for moth and butterfly larvae. Tip pruning when young and light pruning after flowering will promote dense growth.
